“Head Start” Day Training

Perfect for busy families! We handle training for you and transfer those skills to you. Training sessions conveniently take place at your home where your pet is safe and comfortable.

  • FOR PUPPIES

    This integrated approach is very similar to a board/train program, but training takes place in your home, where your puppy feels the most comfortable and where most behaviors occur.

    Day training is convenient, efficient, and effective. We create a customized solution based on your training needs and goals.

    We provide summaries after each session of what your puppy has learned along with clear instructions and no confusing homework.

    We meet weekly for a 20-minute, one-to-one transfer session so I can teach you how to maintain your puppy’s training.

    Training Sessions are approximately 45-60 minutes each. Sessions include play and potty breaks.

Program Details

2 Training Sessions per week.

  • Session #1: Typically at the beginning of the week – You do not need to be present but are welcome to join us.

  • Session #2: 40-minute Training Session with your dog followed by a 20-minute Training/Transfer Skill session.

Session with you and your dog. (Scheduled based on your availability.)

Includes support via phone or email during the week if needed.

This program requires an Initial 90-minute remote consultation before customizing your program.

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Payment is due to Dogz’nHarmony, Inc. in full to commence the day training program. All services are non-refundable. We accept cash, checks, all credit cards, Venmo, and Zelle.

A 48-hour cancellation notice is required before a pre-scheduled training appointment can be canceled unless there is an unforeseen emergency or illness. Notification via voice mail or text to 630-992-9200, and/or email at aimee@dogznharmony.com. Dogz’nHarmony will provide a make-up session or session when given proper notification. Failure to give notice will result in a forfeited session.

Your dog’s Training Plan is specifically designed to commence within 4 weeks for optimal effectiveness. No refunds will be issued after the training plan commences.
